RESTORATION

The old photos of our parents and grandparents are a window to the past.  Sometimes we're blessed that they were well taken care of and are in as good a condition today as they were the day they were put in the frame.  In today's world where we get instant gratification of images, ordering products and more, it is often forgotten that these old photos were taken with a camera that did maybe one image / negative / photo at a time.  These old cameras took minutes to do an exposure hence the reason why many people did not smile in old photo (they also thought they shouldn't smile because the aristocrats didn't smile in the old paintings they say in the museums and such).  These old photos are often put aside and then away when new photos come into the home.  Sometimes they're stored in safe places, but, more often than not, they're placed in the easiest place to go.  This is where they are when they are exposed to varying weather, water or something else that can damage them.

When they're found, they're in dire need of restoration.  This is where we help people out by fixing the old photos through the computer.  You get your original back along with an 8x10 for display and a digital file if you want to print more yourself or put them on social media.  You're also able to purchase additional 8x10s copies for you to distribute to family if you wish.  Please contact us for pricing.
